Great game, got the win, and lots of lessons/teaching opportunities/coaching bitch Sessions to get the boys to step it up....

Good to see Bain perform in that spot. Going to be fun to watch this pitching staff come into form over the next couple months

Thanks Cheer & Poncho!
What a way to start the season!

So glad I stuck it out watching the game! Great win! Nice to see Beck & Bain do good in relief. PM still has a lot of tinkering to do, but again, nice win for the fans to start off the season...

De nada! The first 5 innings weren't much fun, but the last 4 more than made up for it. Great to see Beck and Bain lock it down to give us a chance.

I may be in the minority here but I say give someone else a shot at 3rd. Or move smith back to third and give Hughes a shot at SS.
Slaughter is so lost at the plate. It looks like he decides whether or not he’s gonna swing before the ball is thrown.

If anyone needs to be given a shot it’s at 2B

Yeah, I just don’t see slaughter improving. He’ll never be consistent at the plate.

This is fricking embarrassing. Talk about shitting the bed.

He’ll be fine, esp when he gets against more fast ball pitchers in league play. He struggles with off speed stuff, though
