Unless all 8 dropped passes were on Burrow throws, that completion % is still not encouraging.

How many were forced throw aways because of a rush?

At this point, just have to hope the offensive struggles are because our D is Top 5 in the nation material.

Did you not comprehend the part where the op said around 8 dropped passes? Divide those 8 up between the 2 qbs. Seems to me that receivers played a big role in the numbers here.

I’d take 15/24

That’s bad news for when we eventually face off against Alabama

The bright side is there’s still a lot of time for the offense to gel before then, I think this is a net positive

I sincerely hope the offense gels before then. If they don't come together until Alabama, the damage might already be done. There will be some stout defenses before Alabama.

Well, there's definitely separation now. We just couldn't see it until the other two left. It's ride-or-die with Burrow and recruiting hard for the next Q.B. Brennan's lack of mobility may not be a fit in the SEC.

Do you think Ensminger will hand out grades for this scrimmage?

Already getting the excuses ready.

Fact of the matter is, Brennan had no business seeing the field last year and through two scrimmages, he doesn't seem to be improving, plus he still has the body of a high school sophomore.

hard to criticize the offense because the d is so loaded

No. Offense should be moving by now

yea I actually expect the offense to move the ball some rather than blame their ineptitude on the defense being the 85 bears.

They probably are, but with the level of domination out there we need to hope they are historically good.

im concerned on all the drops. Sullivan is supposed to be a legend. He needs to clean this up before Miami.

He said there were a lot of drops. If half the drops were on Burrow, then he’s 14/24 for 170+. Still not great, but much less bad and he’s only a little over a week into camp.

This year might end up being a wake up call after all for all the O lovers out there. Ensminger wasn't ready for this, neither was o.

I can assure anyone canadas offense would have had better results than this
