Man, great post / info.
What is a stack linebacker ?
If this info is true, this coaching staff is cutting edge.

I thought he was talking about being directly behind the defensive lineman. Like the "stack" defense.

just basically means the LB's are lined up, or "stacked" behind the defensive linemen. More a traditional LB as to what you are accustomed to.
If you remember right he was previously playing as a rush OLB

not that we will run this but have you ever seen a 3-3-5 stack formation? envision the LB's in that and you will understand.

To put it in simplistic terms in a 4/3 stack defense the lbs are in the gaps of the defensive line.

I don't think Ed will ever succumb to being mediocre. He's still maturing as a HC. There will be hiccups but Ed wants championships.
Beyond that, I don't care how many times we install the offense.

Great news here. Also a huge plus that he went to Harvard. Good chance he's a smart and cerebral player.

Good to hear that Brooks is putting on weight. He was already a good pass rusher at under 200 lbs. He's going to be unstoppable with a little more weight on his frame.

What does it mean to "re-install" the offense and defense?
Im not sure Ive ever heard that phrasing.
Going through each aspect of the offense multiple times to be certain everyone is on the same page and speaking the same language/terms perfectly.

CEO has been to the mountain top and he is going to do whatever it takes to get back again.
Imagine 20 years when we look back and CEO is the only coach to win multiple NC’s at LSU!

If Coach O required all the players to stand on their heads and say ten Hail Mary's before every practice, I'd defer to his professional judgment and support it.

The drive for 5 starts now. It’s happening. The road to Atlanta goes through Baton Rouge!

Do you remember Lou Tepper’s drop linebacker? Well this is the opposite.
