Not here to bash Walker Howard, but this decision is ridiculously bad.

He’s gonna go sit behind Dart instead of Nuss.

They are also still heavily pursuing and expected to land former Oklahoma State QB Spencer Sanders.

Maybe there’s a bit more of a chance he sees the field sooner but honestly I think he would’ve been at least in a competition with Nuss next offseason.

Wish the dude the best but don’t understand it.

He's gonna be in his favorite position

3rd string and not getting reps

I would be shocked if he sits behind Dart

If he does, then transferring made no sense

Dart could potentially go pro but I don't see anything that would make him a can't miss NFL prospect at this stage

Sanders with only one more year of eligibility probably needs to go somewhere like Auburn, I don't see him unseating Dart

I'm a little surprised Texas A&M hasn't added a transfer QB
Are they really that confident in Johnson or Weigmann?

Is this a sure thing? Does his commitment to Ole Miss maybe change that?

He will likely be number 2 and getting meaningful practice reps for at least 1 year, compared to LSU where he sits at third string again. Not to mention Nussmeier could potentially stay at LSU for 3 more years. Howard wants an opportunity to play earlier and LSU can't give him that.

Correct me if I am wrong but the new transfer rules go in next season.

It is what it is, but he made the right decision with regards to timing. TBD on if it pays off for him.

True that.

He could win that after his 2nd year head to head. And if not still easily transfer to play right away. At least Nuss stayed 2 years to compete.

One has a year of starts under their belt in the SEC. The other hasn’t played meaningful football since 2020.

Besides Culotta, idk who thinks he’s ready to start now. And not sure where he gets that from or if he’s just a Howard pumper.

And they keep calling him a 5 star QB. He was a 4 star #6 QB in his class. Not that that’s not highly ranked, but they act like he’s Leonard Fournette a consensus #1 overall player nationally.

To put in perspective, Jayden Danials was the #2 Dual threat QB nationally. It’s not like we are losing a generational talent here.

He's somewhat friends with Walker's dad I beleive.

Yeah I'm not sure why everyone acts like he's an all time prospect. I guess it's because we are use to getting QB's as high as him? Jayden was rated higher than him out of high school.

Why would this shock you? Dart played pretty well last year and when Howard played for us in garbage time he looked bad. What has he proven to you? He’s clearly not a competitor and it seems like his leadership is questionable also. I also don’t get why our fan base is wishing him well? He kinda fricked us over and transferred to our biggest historical rival lol. I hope he finds zero success there.

The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. His dad made a lot of bad decisions with the football too.

I think most people are pissed at him leaving because him being here likely deterred us from having any chance at signing Manning or Holstein. Happy to have Collins and who knows, maybe Holstein swings back our way if he decides to leave bama.
