If these were the candidates, then why hasn't there been an announcement. All of their seasons are finished.
This hasn't been announced, I suspect, because your coach's season is not finished. Vitello, Corbin, Pierce, O'Conner, Avent?
Only Corbin and O'Conner have won the CWS. My money is on one of them.

How about it is a simple as taking your time wanting to interview everybody. I agree though as of this moment its not Bianco or that deal would be done. Could we come back around after the process is completed? Probably. Notice how Vitello is never mentioned and that dude is definitely a candidate.

That he's a candidate? I mean if Woodward doesnt even take a look at this guy then thats a mistake. Unless they know something I dont. Tennessee fans even say LSU would have a chance to get him.

Maybe if Maineri was fired. LSU job has been opened for weeks. Bianco is an LSU alum and Drew is here. No way that conversation has not already happened a while ago.

Vitello doesn't really fit the mold of a Woodward hire. It wouldn't surprise me one bit if he isn't a candidate.

He's an established coach that has had some success even if it doesn't match the amount of success that LSU fans expect. Vitello has had one good season.

I would say a Woodward hire would be to hire the best available coach on paper. Bianco not really fitting that mold, even though I think Bianco would do great at LSU.
