I don't really care about this topic. But this last line here is rich. All off-season, the negas were running down Coach O and Coach E and saying that we were going to go 6-6 or 7-5 or worse despite being talented. They helped create and perpetuate this narrative of a program in decline. Day after day after day after day. It was a drumbeat. It fed into the national media perception. It feeds into recruiting.

And many of us responded with "can you let the season play out before running down our team?"

Fast forward to game one and LSU demolishes a top 10 team on national television. Causes Herbstreit to tweet a mea culpa. And it was largely due to COACHING. The scheme and game plan was spectacular. If anything, there were execution issues that prevented us from more points and allowed them to make the score more respectable. But the coaches all did a fabulous job.

And after a lot of these guys get called out for what they did all summer long, they come back with:

Let the season play out before you continue to say “I told you so”

frick off

This right here.

Why was the thread on haters anchored but this isn’t? Blatant bias.

I don’t think he could win a NC, but if he did.. no one would be criticizing him whatsoever.

bullshite. Most of the haters relish every negative thing that happens to the Tigers and even try and twist around or minimize the positive things.

I wish they would all die in a fricking fire or at least become a “fan” of another team.

my question to you is, did you support Miles, when he was the coach? And if you did, was it only because he was the coach?

Damn right I supported Miles. My picture with him still hangs in my office. He is a legend and he was the LSU coach.

I'm not going to unpack the obvious "why do you think he can't" because we've heard it all before and one win won't change your (and many other's view). But...

No one would criticize him in the immediate aftermath. But if he ever slipped up again, they for sure would. Les won a title and played for another and he still lost his job.

Coaching is a tough profession for this very reason.

Les didn't maintain the championship level. 0 needs to get there before we even pretend to know how people might act about it.

I have defended the negas, but you really should take a break. You are one of the main ones who ran down Coach O all summer long. Like in an obsessed way. As mentioned in an earlier post, I do believe you did it because you think it's in LSU's interest for him to be replaced. But today isn't the day to be talking. The LSU coaching staff put on a clinic last night.

The frick are you talking about? Post some stuff I've supposedly said. It should be so easy to find me trashing the team as y'all claim.

Les Miles, Mack Brown, Phillip Fulmer, Larry Coker and Gene Chizik all beg to differ

Tell that the million a-holes with the call out threads.

TBH, the entire offseason has been a tidal wave of trash O threads so what do you expect?

Do you now want a safe space?

I'm not on either side. I have concerns about the staff, but some people cross the line between stating concern or even basic criticism to trashing the staff at every opportunity. It's certainly premature for people to gloat, but a lot of posters on here called down the thunder. So they got it.

And this continues to be the case with pumpers. They can’t make a legitimate argument so they stick to insults and telling you to KYS
