Was hoping Jay would gives Paz another opportunity here to go more than one inning, just on a very short leash. His stuff was overpowering this team.

I’ve wondered that a few times this year. I’ve seen him give runners that got out the WTF look. Sometimes, like with Simpson (and others) I wonder if he is sleeping and/or the runner doesn’t understand what’s going on.

Same here. They don't seem to handle the 95-96mph stuff very well.

Had the ball kicked further away, sure. The SS had the ball when Brown rounded third. Not everyone plays shite defense like us. Dude was out by 5 feet.
