Real question: why call for a slider or curve ball on a left handed hitter when EVERY one he threw would’ve hit any left handed batter?? Result with bases loaded = run. Dumb.

Or maybe he’s been taking a massive lead the entire game when he’s been on base and got caught flat footed? That’s a lot different than casually jogging to a fly ball like Gio did last week. One is a lack of effort. One is not.
