It made so much sense considering teams kept pitching around him since he was arguably our best hitter through Omaha. And it's not like we steal

It was an obvious move. Either Beloso or Dugas had to be moved in front of Crews and Tanks. I called for Dugas, and did not think of Beloso, but they were getting on base about equally recently.

He said in a post game interview that other than in a few Fall scrimmages, he had never led off a game. One of a 100+ things CJJ did right. He keeps a cot in his office for nights when he works too late to go home. Said he wanted a NC more than he wanted to breath. And he's a young 40'ish.

I wanted to move Dugas to 8 or 9 to give the bottom half of the lineup something. 5-9 stepped up in a major way last night.
Everyone was locked in. Great to see the best team in the country put it all together when it mattered most.

They pitched around Beloso the first two games. Jay put them in a bad situation. Pitch to Beloso are give LSU a runner on with Crews and White.
