BK is doing the exact same thing with House. We’ll suffer in the next few weeks

Did you expect Joe Sloan to be fired and a new OC hired during our 1 week break?

Hankton or Atkins should get shots. They can’t be worse than Sloan.

Don’t believe me? Sloan couldn’t draw up plays to rush against a 3 man front

Really, all fanbases are generally retarded because they're all made up of people and people, by and large, are dumber than we can even imagine. Before the internet, we as a society just wouldn't let the retards speak. While the internet is great, it also gives every drooling moron the ability to let us know how dumb they are.

A running list of some of my personal favorites I've seen here

- "We can't run the ball because Sloan keeps calling RPO's and the line doesn't know whether to run block or pass block."

- "Why do we keep calling Zone Read with Garrett who won't ever run it?"

- "Why isn't Harold Perkins playing a spy technique every play?!"

- "BK should make us run more Power and Counter so Sloan can't call RPO's anymore!"

The list goes on and on.

it ia frustrating that we ran one RB draw.

i know you want to give your QB as many targets down field as possible but they were consistent dropping 8 even when the RB was in to block.

now he often would leak and was there for the short pass, but I dont event think that’s as effective as a straight up RB Draw (we ran 1 on 3 and 20 to get better field position and it went for 10 yards)

While the Oline and Sloan haven’t been exceptional, I’m done blaming them. Nuss is making poor decisions. It’s time to move on. Blame an injury to save some of his draft stock if you must but move tf on.

LOL, so true. Sometimes, after reading so many posts on here, I wonder if the majority of "fans" want failure in all LSU sports just so they can complain.

So, you've been at practice last week to know this, or you just kad cause BK didnt come out in a presser this morning and announce he's benched Nuss, fired the offensive staff and put a call in to Joe Brady to call plays??

Do you expect the coach to make an announcement in a bye week of any and all personnel changes on the field???

Not even just that, I'm very disappointed that we haven't seen more gap runs, particularly with the amount of odd fronts and movement we have seen from defenses. Zone is going to be tough when a defense is twisting and stunting up front because it challenges the OL's eyes and rules in real time. We can still do our RPO game with the gap stuff and it would allow us, in theory, to get a wash on alot of that movement up front. I definitely want to see more GT, Power, Counter, Buck type runs.

At this point, if teams are going to keep playing us like Tech and Ole Miss did, we're going to have to run more gap scheme runs. If we can manage to pop a few, we can always go back to zone when the defense stops the twists but if we're going to have any success running the ball, we'll have to run more gap concepts.

I yhink one of our big issues is how we telegraph plays.

we run against off fronts but the safeties always seem to creep down when we run and it is a lot of bodies in the box all of a sudden.

Switching to add gap scheme runs is a hard in season change to make.

we tried installing more of that in 2019 and scrapped it in the first month, of course that OL was actually good at zone blocking
