The hubris and the ego of this offensive coaching staff if no major adjustments are made. I expect some kind of shift in philosophy or we deserve to go to the music city bowl.

I see what you’re saying, but the gap schemes are already in the playbook. It’s not like we’re adding stuff that isn’t there but if you’re right and we just haven’t practiced any gap stuff, that’s coaching malpractice. Not having gap and zone in the playbook is akin to a boxer only practicing jabs and uppercuts but no hooks or crosses.

You could have Jesus calling the Playbook of the Angels and this offense would still sputter. The OL could not even block SELA. The failure is purely in recruiting.

You didn't hear? Curne is left guard now. Weston Davis had the best practice of his life and looks like an all American. Josh Thompson is pancakeing people in the big cat drill that we brought back, and Harlem Berry is now the full-time starter. Nuss is fully recovered, and is throwing darts, and Joe Sloan has really found a rhythm in practice because he broke open up 200 page playbook that he's been waiting to unleash for usc
