I mean...that sums it up. I don't think anybody came away from that game thinking - well we the Aggies were just more talented than us.

We were outhustled and out-toughed and for the second game in a row lost out an almost all of the 50-50 balls. And that's emasculating. Maybe all our guys had the flu tonight. That's what it looked like.

I'm still all in on CMM but - this one will be the test you throw out.

It was bad. I hate seeing some of our guys watch the ball after the shot. Some of our guards don’t have the instinct to defensive rebound. They are watching shots. Coach needs to work on making it instinct. That was pretty embarrassing

Yep, I think the "we just aren't talented" line is lazy and convenient....and let me be clear - I'm all in for CMM.

There will be games this year where that line is legit. This ain't one of them. We got outhustled, out-toughed and out executed by a team that IMHO was very comparable talent-wise to us.

Tonight's effort and energy was unacceptable.

Many times, guards defensive rebounding isn’t paramount to victory. Against some teams it is. So many guards don’t develop the tendencies to crash to the ball. There were multiple plays where I saw miller watch the ball. Not picking on him specifically, because other are doing the same thing. I would assume McMahon wanted to push it on defensive rebounds, but step one is rebound.

This among several other things disappointed me abou the overall effort tonight. I can live with "the other team was just better" if that's the case.

No. 1 I don't believe that was the case tonight and No. 2 effort should never be an issue. It was tonight.

It does, but you hate to see poor effort ever. And we can dress it up however we like but everything I saw pointed to that.

We had a hard time rebounding against UK as well, granted Tshiebwe is a force.

Probably the team’s biggest issue is no elite big man. Lots of potential at guard. When those guys are on, we have potential to steal some games we shouldn’t.

But you get more consistency from the inside — even in today’s game IMO not having that guy makes things tough.

Honestly, I'm writing this one off. It sucks, but we can learn from it.

And Johnny Jones McMahon just bent over and took it. When your team is getting out hustled. Out worked. You have to make it VERY clear that’s not acceptable. McMahon watched LSU get bullied all game and said nothing. How can you expect your team to play with fire and emotion when you are showing zero as their coach?

I get that he doesn’t have an overly animated personality and coaching style. That’s fine. There are many different coaching styles. But sometimes the situation call for some anger. Some outward display of emotion. Tonight was one of those nights and he looked like he waived the white flag midway through first half…his team followed suit.

Yeah, McMahon offered no emotion or energy from the bench tonight. It was just a bad night all the way around.

This is without a doubt the worst game of the year.

Only because we haven't faced a motivated team on the road.
You won't be able to say that after a couple more games.
A&M is not a very talented team.

Kentucky was motivated after the loss preceding our game with them. LSU just played a much better game and went toe to toe with them. I don't think this is one of UK's better teams, but I still have to give LSU's players credit there. LSU's effort was just really bad tonight.

The no effort, by contrast to A&M, was eye-opening, for everyone. Hope coach can figure out what the heck was going on….

yeah, McMahon did a terrible job getting this team ready and coaching them up during the game. No energy, no adjustments, nothing. Very disappointing.
