So had everyone else
In the Sec. Get over it. These next 3 wins are more important than Bama. Especially if u want Lsu to get the talent in that they need to get back to 11-12 win seasons.

Why haven't you started the threads?

Uh, I started this one and one other this week.

There is a melt if we lose a game, many complained about those who made any positive comment after our loss to Bama. If we are facing an opponent we should beat or if we win I'm sure there will be those who blow the win off because we "should have" won the game.

I call it the Buffalo Bills syndrome. You make it to four super bowls, lose all four, therefore you are a loser.

For many LSU fans:

Losing any game, no matter the quality of the opponent - never acceptable

Winning a game we are favored - we should have

Every game is like the 2011 Fla game or 2003 Ga game = only acceptable option

We wait all year for 12 games and the sky is falling if we aren't undefeated and unscored on. I'll be in the south end zone no matter the opponent, the time of the game or the record of the team.

most of our fan base only cares about one game, so the season is over for them...come back next November

A lot of the positive fans are avoiding this board because it's festered with Debbie downers that refuse to see anything positive with our program and suck th fun out of discussing anything LSU.

Edit: If you think what I'm saying isn't true, show me one thread on this board right now that doesn't have multiple posts about how we suck.

now that we are basically eliminated from the West, my enthusiasm has dwindled
Sad for you. Sad to hear.

Us old time LSU fans understood disappointment, but still knew there is far more to loving LSU football than us winning the division or the SEC one given year.

That appreciation of LSU was always the source of the fierce energy that used to permeate Tiger Stadium every single game and what made the Legend of Death Valley so really real.

Same.

My advice would be to stop worrying about everyone else, and enjoy your season. Trying to get caught up in why trant doesn't look the way you think it should look mid-week is not a smart idea.

I’m just depressed with LSU football right now, we have lost 7 in a row to a team that looked no different to me Saturday. My old man called to talk football last night and I? didn’t even feel like starting the discussion. Like the first response, fatigue is real, I’m gonna watch Saturday but I’m fed up.

I feel bad for you if that's all you get from this season.

This is Wed and an early game .. drop off in tailgate parties....and yes a lot of energy went into last week.

I'm going, I just think the tigers can stumble if they don't show up. And let's face it, the team over it's history seem to play slow at the beginning of these early games, plus there is the hard faught game against bama that can leave the team a lil less enthusiastic.

We beat Ark 38-10 last year after Bama.

Stop all the doom and gloom...but yes we must show up and there is no indication that we will not.

We spent a lot of emotion against Bama. Hard to get up again the week after.

Me too. Gonna have a bacon and ham omelet and then drive 3.5 hours to Baton Rouge to watch my Tigers chomp on some hog butt. It's going to be glorious!

It is sad. I would like to compete for championships. There is still a lot to play for (possible Cotton Bowl berth if things fall just right) but obviously not nearly as much as before. I'm still going to cheer and root for my Tigers but there just isn't as much on the line as there was before.
