Have heard rumblings on McGlothern
Not necessarily that he wants out of LSU, but that he might have to
You've got to be kidding me.

Yep. Name another university battling 10 academic suspensions. I’ll hang up and listen.
If a business is failing because management isn’t holding employees accountable and the business goes under who do you blame the employees or the leadership?

Looking at that depth chart, it’s actually not as bad as I thought.
Cornerback is thin, but there are other DBs that can help. Linebacker is thin.
Nuss is listed No. 1 on the depth chart. Has it been released that’s he’s playing?
Would seem dumb to have him on the list otherwise

Why are accepting kids that cant make complete sentences?
Posted on 1/2/22 at 10:32 am to Bjorn Cyborg
You youngsters don't remember when we played a freshman schedule every year.
Roster reminds me of that.

Because they are good at football and with proper support can pass.

Where is Dellinger? Didn’t figure him for an academic issue.

No McGlothern, Goodwin and Dellinger is a worry/concern
It’s all about the future. Are these guys a part of that future?
Did Delly get hurt? I can’t remember

It's bad for the future if many of these guys are cut by Kelly or choose to leave. Hopefully it's just academic and they get their shite together.
I mean we already had a mountain to overcome with our roster but this would be insane if some of the guys aren't back at all.

I know O did a lot wrong but this stuff is the responsibility of a lot of other people as well. There are people within the athletic department that are solely responsible for keeping players academically eligible. I don’t believe the head coach hires or fires those people. This is a shite show involving the whole athletic department.

Agreed. But someone was getting paid like 9 million a year to over see the entire operations. This does not happen with a competent head coach. That’s why it isn’t happening at other places to the degree that it has happened here.

I’m referring to this game only. I think we have enough good players to win.
Regarding the future, without knowing the status of these players, it’s hard to comment, so I won’t.

I don’t know why some of you expected Kelly to come in and just flip a switch to correct all of these problems Orgeron created.
I’m not surprised at all by any of this.

At most of these universities when kids start struggling they get 1 on 1 time with tutors up to 3 hours a day to ensure they remain eligible. No way they were getting the attention they need. Some kids get on campus without knowing how to complete compound sentences much less college level material. This many is a failure on our support team.
I had a friend from high school that was a part of O’s staff for a few years, he got his start with the football program in the recruiting department, part of his job was to do paperwork for the players that couldn’t properly read or write, and he said there was more of them than you would expect.
Posted on 1/2/22 at 10:53 am to ForeverLSU5
You have to expound on that

Just validates how deficient O was in his leadership
Dumbass swamp king
How dare he not hold their hand, take the em to class and take the tests for his struggling in school players
This is the expectation of any program that expects to succeed. You have to keep on most of these guys in terms of academics because half (or more) of them got a free pass in high school.
There are people in every major program that are tasked with staying on top of this. There have been too many of these incidents in the last few years, especially this year (starting with Emery).
The head coach, particularly one that is supposed to be the CEO type of coach, needs to get the pulse of this throughout the semester. O botched this.
