I'm assuming he's giving up any baseball scholarship money if he does. I can't see the football team giving him a scholarship

False

On baseball scholarship until he is offered a football scholarship.

But could he get the final scholarship for this season and free up part of the 11.7?

That is absolutely not false. You can not be on scholarship for another sport, while walking on to the football team.

He was a sought after football player, I’m pretty sure. Good luck to him.

That would be cool.

It’s not like he is getting of a scholarship from baseball anyway. Anyone who plays baseball does so because they also have a academic scholarship or their family can afford to pay their way. Anything they get from baseball doesn’t amount to much.

Yes. Orgeron seems like one hell of a guy, but I find it hard to imagine he would throw Mainieri such a huge bone and give up an entire football scholly for a baseball player.

Are you trying to say Foster was on baseball scholarship, and a football walk on?

When he was on baseball money, didn't play football.

It’s not giving up if it’s unused. There obviously isn’t much in the transfer market.

They are wording it on Twitter that it’s for voluntary workouts not necessarily that he is full time on the team yet

I believe he can because he has played at least a season of baseball before joining the football team.
