I have one simple question for you. It's in a few parts but I honestly would love to hear your answer.
Seriously asking:

I couldn't be any happier.
Why is this?
(I get it's his dream job and he's from Louisiana and loves his players and all that. I'm not dismissing that by any means, those are all great qualities, however since the season started we've had a ton of penalties in the first 3 games (that was corrected in game 4 so I can hardly rip him for that. It was corrected.)
With that being said, we lost to Moo State in the largest loss in LSU history. History.
We hung on by a thread to beat Syracuse in Baton Rouge.
I had a lot of optimism when we beat Louisville in last season's bowl game but that optimism has seriously been shaken. This season's results, so far, are not trending in the way any LSU fan would be ok with.
Spare me the "team is young, etc"
I'd really be interested in hearing why you couldn't be any happier. FYI, I do not want O to fail, I just think he's over his head. He's a good man, he really is. I've met him personally.

I'm positive you are an alter or planted account. You have almost 900 posts in like 3 weeks and 90% of them have been you going after other posters.

I thought he was just a troll having fun until he started RA'ing people to have their accounts suspended. He definitely has an agenda. Makes me consider some of the more insidious O and DP rumours that I've heard and that I used to laugh off.

Nick Saban lost to UAB in his first year at LSU and he lost to Louisiana Monroe in his first year at Bama

So, non sequitur?

Alright - stop right there. Saban's 95 MSU team did not have more talent than that exceptional 95 Tiger team led by Dinardo.
Sorry had to get that off my chest. Whew.
Kind of like Orgeron with a depleted line on both sides along with other positions being played by Freshmen. LOL You just agreed with the OP.

Please tell us more about how hard nick saban makes you.
BTW, how many games did Saban lose his first year at LSU?

Better to have a hard on for the best college football coach in history than to have one for a 55 year old career dline coach who's in over his head. That's pathetic.

Are we, as a fan base, ever going to accept that HE isn't here anymore? That it has been over 10 years now? That we are two coaches removed from HIM?
The guy was a head coach at LSU, and won a national championship here. It's only natural to bring him up in conversation. After all, he is an enormous part of the history of our program, and contributed heavily to its long-term success, like it or not.

He turned the Cleveland Browns into the #1 ranked defense in the NFL.
Pretty sure Belichick had something to do with that too.
It took him 5 seasons to get to a 9-2 record and was helped by OSU being terrible that year. When he was hired at LSU a lot of people were worried he was a one-hit wonder.

I guess u guys are so proud of Saban, U forgot his 1st. season he got beat by Louisiana Monroe!

So Nick inherited a shite sandwich both times but was able to turn it into a powerhouse because people believed and bought into the system. LSU fans need to understand the situation and buy into what O is trying to do. Les Miles was 14-10 in the SEC his last 4 years.....That sucks.
Posted on 9/29/17 at 9:40 am to Placebeaux
14-10 does suck, but it can be a lot worse. You may be about to see it first hand.
I hope not.

Need to give O a chance. Its not his team yet. He has NO line to work with and thats where the game is played. If everyone stays negative LSU wont attract the players it needs to win championships.

Orgeron tells LSU players they will be in the CFP in 2017
So he's either a liar, or incompetent. Great. That bodes REALLY well for the future...

How about trying to create a positive atmosphere and setting goals. What do you want him to say, we suck and will go to the Independence Bowl? Good God man.
Posted on 9/29/17 at 9:55 am to Placebeaux
What do I, you, or anyone else on here have to do with creating a positive atmosphere?
A positive atmosphere is created by one thing: WINNING.
Getting blown out my MS State and taken to the wire at home vs Syracuse does far more to create a negative atmosphere than anything said here. This is only an expected response to it.
