Serious question, would Gilmore or LaCouture have played more at Alabama than Frazier did?

I have no idea, but NFL scouts think he's better apparently.

do people like Honey Badger, Peterson, Fournette, Guice, etc. because they're black?

Nope. Whether they're black, white, green, or blue, we just love our Tigers.

It's 2018 - long past time to retire the race card.

Gilmore & Lac both had 6+ sacks this year: how many interior DL hit that?

But if you watched almost none of them were because of pressure they applied. If we're being honest neither was a good, penetrating DLinemen. They got to clean up a lot of leftover stuff because our secondary was elite and other guys were applying initial pressure. It wasn't like they were terrors in the backfield.

Gilmore also has to answer questions about why it took him 5 years to make any sort of impact.

Crazy me. I thought LSU wore purple and gold.

I agree.

Neither stands out as a physical force and they don't have a very high ceiling. But I still think they would've gotten invites over the Bama guy, who has basically no film at all.

This is true, but they still got the sacks.

if we're being honest, our secondary was very good, not elite. Too many mental mistakes and missed tackles to be elite.

Lac started slow but he was pretty active in the backfield all season

If this were really true, he would have finished with WAY WAY more than 8.5 tackles for loss on the season (6 of which were sacks, meaning only 2.5 tackles for loss all season ball carriers outside of QB pass plays). He played like 80% of defensive snaps too, which is ridiculous for a DLineman to do.

I’m talking more about saying all he had was coverage sacks. I’m not saying he was glen Dorsey. But he earned several of his sacks

Trey Quinn is not an LSU Tiger. Please stop with this “let’s keep cheering for the white kid who looks like us” bullshite.

None of y’all give two fricks about any other player who left the program.

OT: But is anyone watching Orlando Brown self-destruct in this combine?

Dude shows up overweight (345 pounds) and out of shape. Does 14 bench press reps, worst among all OL. Runs a 5.85 40, by far worst among OL. Jumps 19.5" in the vertical, 4" worse than the next worst OLineman. Just did the feet shuffle drill mirroring a guy running back and forth and literally could not follow the guy at all.

He was considered the 1st or 2nd OT off the board

Looked like he had a little bit of a misstep on his take off too so I’m sure he can do better. Still a pretty good time
