Looking at next years team and we should have upper classmen starting at most positions on both Offense and Defense.

QB: Burrow will be a SR
RB: Fournette will be a SR, Edwards-Helaire a JR, One of the five start RB's might take the position.
WR: 4 Seniors (Giles, Dillon, Anderson, and Sullivan) also Jefferson a JR. Marshall and Chase will be Sophomores.
TE: Pettigrew and Moss will either be RSSO or JR's.
OL: Traore, Lewis, and Magee are Seniors. Deculus, Charles, and Campbell are JR's. Hines will be a SO. Cushenberry will be a JR.

DL: Lawerence, Alexander, and Fehoko will be SR's. Logan and Farrell will be JR's. Shelvin will be SO.
LB: Queen and Phillips will be JR's
OLB: Divinity will be as SR. Chaisson RSSO or JR.
S: Delpit, Harris, Lewis, Monroe, and Stevens will be JR's
CB: Fulton will be a SR. Vincent, Kirklin, and Netherly are JR's. Joseph will be SO (might move back to safety). I believe Stingley will start opposite of Fulton as a true freshman.

Overall, I think every defensive position but one (CB) will have an upperclassman starting.

RB and WR could have underclassman starting and in all reality these were the two positions along with the OL that underperformed most of the year. OL should be better and have more experienced depth.

LSU will have the talent to compete with anyone. Orgeron has to make sure that the offense improves. Defense should be just as good.

Good post. I like the fact that you have been a member for 10 years and have only posted 37 times. There are so many people on this board that believe that their opinions are better because they constantly share them with all of us. They make fun of people like you and me because we only post when there is something significant to say or have a real question.

What good is all the stuff you wrote when we have an incompetent head coach and an awful offensive staff?

You’re right, it doesn’t. But it’s the truth.

I usually don’t enjoy the E bashing that goes on but this is funny cuz he’s definitely a senior citizen.

FWIW, I also think we need a new OC. I just don’t like the personal attacks on a guy that bleeds P&G.

Edit: if you werent joking about E’s age then you can frick off. He may not be the best OC but he’s doing the best he can. I feel bad that he was put in a position to fail in the first place.

The question is how does Ensminger's offense look next year with a healthy/more experienced offensive line. We will have an upgrade at RB and our WR should get better. The future looks good to me.

If he's not the best OC he shouldn't be on the staff. Orgeron got the job on the basis that he would only hire the best coordinators.

That was a lie.

Not only did he not hire one of the best, he hired a guy who wasn't an OC at all. And it is to his own detriment.

I'm sure E is doing the best he can, the problem is that his best is not nearly good enough. LSU should never have an offense ranked in the triple digits.

This 100%.

Offense will continue to be horrible so long as LSU continues to employ sub-par coaches on the offensive side of the ball.

Here we go again. Next year!

Are you saying we didn't have the talent to beat Florida and Texas A&M this year?

There comes a time we have to stop discussing the talent on the field and begin seriously talking about the talent on the coaching staff.
