exactly where the first few seccg were played! in that shithole. legion field.

same shithole we had to play bama in for ages until 1988 when it was sent back to tuscaloosa.

Starkville probably is the geographical center now. Move the SEC offices to the condos in left field at Dudy Noble.

Yes! The SEC office definitely needs to be moved out of Birmingham!! I hope with Texas & OU aboard, more pressure can be put on the Headquarters to move to a less biased location!!

SEC HQ needs to be in Hattiesburg, MS.

This is the correct answer.

Not to hijack this thread but the title references the next issue needing to be addressed, so the next issue is scheduling and / or realignment of teams in the League.

I can guarantee you one thing . Any rotating playoffs system that doesn't include Austin will bring a howl from those liberal assholes at UT. They consider themselves to be above the rest of us , and probably think they should host the championship game period .

I think that is a great way to do it, but they won’t to much extra expense to do that.

Maybe they rotate Dallas/Atlanta for awhile.

But the ultimate decision will be where ESPN wants the game played! Watch and see. My bet would be it is moving to Texas.

Moving it around would get rid of the season ticket holders who are predominantly Alabama, Florida, and UGA fans.

Umm Missouri’s represented the East twice since joining the SEC!

But they didn't have the best record in the SEC either time. Not likely to happen any time soon either.

Why not? Do these schools not host other SEC schools on a weekly basis? Your premise is very flawed.

Visiting teams get about 6,000 tickets for reg season games.
Each team gets 16,300 for the SEC title game, sponsors and etc. get the rest.
Few cities can host that many visitors. That’s way more visitors to the city than a normal SEC game would be.

Then you have weather issues. Early Dec. and who wants to sit outside in a cold rain. Besides who wants the championship played in the mud?
