well i have no doubt the top of the top isn't going to be that much different (just look at lil ole me)
but their shitty students still are 30+ ACT (however you wanna translate it to SAT) kids with good GPAs (even the legacies)
their lower-end students would get into the Honor's program at LSU if their essay said, "frick you" over and over and it had streaks of shite where they wiped their arse with it

And because Harvard did not count any of his L.S.U. credits, it made him a sophomore.
Hatch was a communication studies major at LSU ... uhhh ... something tells me that Harvard doesn't have a communication studies degree.

nice article on Hatch--I wish him well

Okay well i should have phrased it better. Most private schools do not accept MUCH credit from state schools. Its not a matter of academic superiority, its a matter of... MONEY
Think about it Ivy League DOES NOT give atheletic scholarships, so Hatch is having to pay tuition.
So Harvard denies him his credit and gets an extra 2 years (around $80,000 out of his pocket)

Yeah, this is pretty much true. The 25-75 at most of these schools is about 1340-1520 and basically no one has below a 1200 unless they are a world class athlete (i.e. Marcellus Wiley at Columbia).

I know a couple of girls from Tulane that took Organic for summer school at LSU.

Honestly, Hatch seems like a great, hardworking guy and all, but how did he get the starting job at QB for LSU? I know that he played an important role as a change of pace, duel threat QB, but what did the coaches see that translated into SEC QB? I know people complain about Lee a lot, but at least he has potential.
The fact that Hatch was the starting QB at the beginning of last year makes me question some of the offensive coaching.

Stop taking their word for it that they're SO MUCH BETTER than LSU. The reality is, they really aren't. They've just been at it longer.
Don't take their word for it...take US News and World Report's word for it.
#1 Harvard
#128 LSU

When are all of you going to stop taking their elitist bullshite and start standing up for LSU?
When LSU gets ranked in the top 50...that would be a good start.

Why should we take the US News and World Report's word on the matter any more? Those rankings are really just based on image, which universities people think are better. In reality, most universities offer the same curriculum, each have some world class professors, and LSU is no different. The education you get at LSU is no worse than one from Harvard. What Harvard can get you is a better name recognition and better networking opportunities across the country.
Anyway, LSU has moved up those rankings quite a bit over the last few years, but the core education hasn't changed at all, it is no more difficult. So what has changed? LSU has made a concerted effort to improve the image of the University to the rest of academia.

I'll never forget the image of him getting up after getting his bell rung and looking to the sidelines for the next play while fumbling around with his mouthpiece and the coaches were telling him to get on the ground. You could see the little tweety birds flying around his head

yep....and to go back to one of my earlier posts....is he physically durable enough to play even in the Ivy League????

I would bet the article isn't accurate, and that his credits didn't transfer for the major he chose at harvard. Co
If Harvard doesn't accept English Comp I, or Chem I, etc, from any accredited university, that's just retarded.
