And because Harvard did not count any of his L.S.U. credits, it made him a sophomore.

Wow here two years and not one Credit. Guess Harvard does think highly of LSU

WOW, that's kind of a slap in the face but I wonder if it works in reverse. Let's say someone plays 2 yrs of football at Harvard then transfers to LSU. I think he should be a Freshman again because Harvard football credits don't really transfer to the SEC.

Wow that is pretty shitty right there. Dude is going to be like 26 before he gets his Bachelor's. I wonder if he really thinks being in the background of a national championship team and in the foreground of one of the worst teams for a school in nearly a decade was worth that.

Uh ... I think the guy's a Mormon. Mormons aren't allowed to get any trim till they're married.

from another board

quote:

You act surprised that Harvard wouldn't accept LSU credits. LSU is like half a step above a Community College

Well I think that is nonsense from that other board. I am not sure what Hatch was taking but I got to think that something would transer

i remember a comment made to me by my Russian History professor at LSU....he was in his first year of teaching and was pleasurably suprised by the quality of student he had....he told me that he felt this LSU students were better than the ones he had at Harvard......and this is from the days of open admissions....

what outsiders never realized....they had to admit you, but they didn't have to keep you....if you made it through freshman year, the odds were in your favor that you would graduate, but you had to make it through your freshman year....

one other comment, what a bunch of elitist snobs...

that is probably a pretty good point. i have no idea what he was taking. but if it was basket weaving 101 then i am not be surprised that harvard would not take it.

Hatch is probably the worst QB to start a game at LSU.

With all due respect to academics at LSU, you have to factor in how much more a bachelor's degree from Harvard is remuneratively worth in a graduates lifetime. Harvard>>>>LSU. The denial of credits is probably due to Hatch's course load and body of work performed at LSU...it's got nothing to do with snobbery.

I think it is important to remember that he went from a public school to a private school. Regardless of the school, typically private schools do not take credits from a public school.

Harvard DOES NOT Hate LSU
