If this sets back hoops in any way whatsoever Joe Must Geaux. He should really be out by now anyway but this gives the powers to be cause to can his arse. Someone has to be the fall guy here. My god JJ was horrible.

This Is only 1 agency. When all is said and done the players, coaches and programs implicated will be so deep and far reaching it will be nearly impossible to retroactively address each offense the way the NCAA traditionally has. The NCAA governing body as we know it may be fundamentally changed.

Yep. Wade won’t hang around for the fallout from this stuff. He didn’t sign up for this crap. Wouldn’t be surprised if his agent isn’t already putting out feelers.

Don't melt yet dude. This will more than likely amount to nothing at all.

Documented proof of two of the players taking money from an agent while at LSU?

Best case scenario is that we vacate some of the few wins that J.J. had while here at LSU. Worst case, we lose scholarships that we can’t afford to lose. We better pray that there’s no proof of the staff knowing anything about this.

Alabama, Michigan St., Kentucky, Washington, Texas, Wichita St., Kansas, South Carolina, Clemson, Vanderbilt, NC State, Xavier, freaking Creighton are all "implicated" among several others.

The coaches/programs will issue statements that this particular agency had nothing to do with their programs nor their recruiting. The NCAA isn't dropping the hammer on virtually every big school in college basketball. This is a sport-wide issue. Not simply just one or two schools "cheating".

At worst, Martin/Quarterman may be retroactively ruled ineligible and LSU has to vacate wins in the games they played. Great. All that means the Johnny Jones era of underachieving technically didn't exist.

Y'all realize this isn't the same as the bribery stuff where assistant coaches were involved don't y'all?

As much as I hate Alleva, and Jones sucked, they had nothing to do with this

This spreadsheet showed what an agent was directly paying players to try and get their future business. This was not lsu or anyone else using the money to entice the kids to come to lsu

Every report from Thamel and Forde suggest this will result in penalties much worse than vacated wins

Is that true? Obviously we don’t know yet, but they’ve been pretty plugged in so far

If true, this is 100% reason to fire Joe Alleva

Hired known cheater Johnny Jones, Jones is already gone, Alleva takes the fall here. I’m not joking at all.

Serious question. If we fire Alleva, will the NCAA take it easy on the university?

Somehow yahoo ivestigations, no matter how much backup they have, typically lead to nothing.

Yeah, probably to all the schools that won't be implicated in this. Those two phone calls had to be tiresome.

Will we have to forfeit the 2 sec wins from last season?
