New Uniform Unveiling Pics

Helmets actually look a lot better than I thought they would based on what leaked out earlier.

These uniforms suck. I can't believe that the Athletic Dept would allow them to change, even for 1 game. I have to ask - Why?

Seems like you are in the minority. Looks like the uni's are making a pretty big hit. I think they look A LOT better than everyone expected.

I actually like the fact that it is real gold.. I have no problem at all with these uniforms.

Actually the black T-shirt fits in well with the proposed "black out" by the crowd in TS.

By "proposed" I mean what someone posted as a way to express mourning over the loss of our beloved Tiger football.

From the initial pictures I had seen, I was not happy with us looking like the Washington Huskies of Baton Rouge.

Having seen them in person, I must say they are actually pretty sharp. The gold is pretty cool on the helmets and goes well with the purple. I think the eyes of the Tiger on the gloves are really sweet.

So, people, quit whining about them until you see them in person. They are pretty good.

The uniform change might be something fun for the players and help get last week off their minds. Maybe....if we're lucky....
