Not to put down on all that is there already, I just think it would add to the atmosphere a great deal for some new things be added to make it more festive and enjoyable.

1. I would like to see the Tiger Band or a small portion at the Conference games. Dosen't have to be the whole Marching band, something in line with what they do for Basketball. Better than that mess they are putting out over the speakers! JMHO!

2. See the Cheerleaders and Mike The Tiger out there. What a site that would be to see Chris Guillot out there on the dugout with the Cheerleaders say G-O-O-O! T-I-G-E-R-S! G-O-O-O! T-I-G-E-R-S! Also seeing Mike go around the stadium playing and mixing with the kid's much like they do at some Major League games.

That's a few of mine, what yall say?

Mike okay.

Cheerleaders, not.

And the main thing with tiger band is that placing them will take up seats, and the stadium is too large for it to be effective.

It works in the PMAC because it is small and enclosed. The band at baseball games would sound like a joke.

There are no bands and cheerleaders in baseball.

Please don't try to turn our baseball program into the football program.

I'm not trying to turn it into football, just trying to make it more festive for the kid's. With more of the students coming to the games now I'm afraid that without something for the kid's that it is going to leave the door open for it to become more like the football games with all the cursing and swearing and stuff that's all. Not to lay the blame all on the student's but there should be that element that will lend itself to an enjoyable outing that's all. I have been going to the Box since the early seventies before the large crowds. Insted of bringing in the Chicken we have our own Mike the Tiger, insted of all this piped in music (if you call it that) we have the best band in all of sport's, why not put them to good use that's all. Sorry if you are taking me wrong on this just trying to make it more unique, that's all!

Mike the Tiger (in costume, not the real tiger -- wouldn't it be cool to see the real Mike make an entrance in his cage and make a lap around the park!) was there last year for most, if not all of the games, mixing it up with the crowd. As for cheerleaders, we've always got Chris Guillot!!!

if the kids aren't enjoying the games enough as is maybe their tickets should go to someone who will.

"Left Field Sucks" / "Right Field Sucks" chants that are an every day thing at Rosenblatt.

Prior to this year, it couldn't be done. But we have left field and right field bleachers now.

A "beat-tha-traf-fic" chant for people leaving early?
Yelling "left, right, left, right" for every step an opposing coach makes walking to the mound?
:shrugs:

Amen to that. Marching bands do not belong at a baseball game.

My kids love Tiger band but like the walk up music better. I agree no band. Maybe let Mike walk through the stands but my opinion is that it just wont take. Too much of an older crowd that wants to watch a ballgame. Nothing wrong with that I say.
