Yet they kneeled for anthem an entire crowd groaned. I doubt they see more records broken. Shame it was a fun time but won’t be back and from the sounds of it I’m not in the minority of that thought.

What are you down voting??? That they knelt?? They did. That the crowd groaned??? It could be heard across entire stadium. FACT. That it won’t hurt their product??? It will.

I just found out that Tinaya does this after each goal

I don’t have issues with people voicing their opinions but don’t get why it all gets dragged into sports now

That is sad. I won’t go to a game this year now.

There are countries that call soccer football, and there are countries that landed on the moon.

Is this true?

So brave of these “oppressed” women. They are oppressed by having fully funded tuition, books, housing, food and get to travel and kick a ball around with revenue generated from football and basketball players

When I clicked this thread, I was pumped to go to a game. I am NOT going to a game now.

They can proclaim their BLM BS elsewhere. Leave it out of my alma mater’s athletics

I have a middle school age daughter that plays soccer. I have been following the LSU team the last few weeks and have even looked at the schedule to see when we could possibly make a game. After hearing they are anthem kneelers I am no longer interested.

It’s very disappointing to try to find role models for a preteen daughter in soccer- we would love to watch the USWNT but Rapinoe has made that unbearable. I would have never thought our hometown school would do the same.

Not a fan of the kneeling, but you missed the boat here. The idea is that they are using their platform to draw attention to those who they believe are oppressed, not that they’re saying they themselves are personally oppressed.

just play the fricking game! No one who showed up to the game gives two shits about the players political beliefs. They came to watch them play sports and get away from that BS. What has been solved since these idiots started kneeling/protesting during sporting events? Nothing… I want to solve world hunger, how about I starve myself in front of my colleagues while wearing a “no one should go hungry” t-shirt. Solves absolutely nothing
