I'm sure being fired after signing day has something to do with it as well but his happens everywhere. Kids string along coaches all the time but if there's a slight change in the guard, these high school coaches go bonkers.

And many forget O said he wanted start to develop a solid shadow staff. I think this move is a clear direction towards that.

See how long they keep good players who don't want to go to Bama.....
Where would they go? 3 of the 4 are public and if you live in the district that's the school you attend.

You need a timeout, man. This is some next-level ignorance you're spewing. Dylan Roof type shite. Please GTFO because you're making me physically ill.

OK? Rummel, Jesuit, Brother Martin, Holy Cross, etc are all in the same general area.. why weren't they included in this meeting??
Because Juluke likely doesnt recruit those schools........

That article didn't mention race.

From the article:
quote:

Several of the area’s black head football coaches are meeting to discuss how coach Ed Orgeron handled the demotion of running backs coach and New Orleans area recruiter Jabbar Juluke in the aftermath of National Signing Day.

It mentions they are black not that they are motivated by the fact that Juluke is black. . .

I see you confuse "next level ignorance" with simply telling the truth.

Whatever helps you get through the day I suppose.

Not at all. Just handle the situation better if you want to let someone go.

And risk being shunned by the black community in Nola for the rest of his life? Not happening and I don't blame him

So they don't care about Juluke personally. He's also a pawn in this game?

Maybe they can give him a job. IF he's allowing this to happen in his name then he's definitely not keeping the best interests of his employer in mind. If someone in his immediate family is seriously ill, as has been reported/speculated, he's got a stable income without a lot of the hours required in coaching and recruiting. Obviously the NOLA coaches don't give a shite about his family if they can't understand that. This is all about them, not Juluke.

Their players are the ones who end up losing out. Real mature stand for these "leaders" to take.

Bobby Williams (a black man) right after signing day last year. Napier right before signing day this year (because other team leaked it.)

He may be a little extreme but in my opinion he might not be that far from the truth

Why is it relevant what race the other coaches are then?

I'm just wondering why the "black coaches" are upset and no one else. At least from what's been thrown out there. Either the article is race baiting, or the idea that these coaches only care because he's black is actually the underlying issue. Either way, it's an odd situation and sad from the high school coaches in my opinion unless there was something DIRECTLY done that is inexcusable.

What is amusing is that many of the posters on this site waned Jaluke fired two weeks ago. Very bipolar. Also to some of, please cut out the adolescent behavior
