Where would they go? 3 of the 4 are public and if you live in the district that's the school you attend.

Oh, Grasshopper! You are so young.

The family can move to another district, the kid can move in with relatives in another district/state.

There are so many ways to do this.

It's just a given that all black kids from the NO area prefer to play their football in majority white, tornado filled, empty stadium, perennial loser, freezing cold Kansas. And that's the truth

It will be 71 in Lawrence and 76 in Baton Rouge on Saturday.

That's not a very recent picture of downtown Baton Rouge, like a decade or more out of date.

Have coaching clinics for each of the school's staff, and get some booster to buy the team equipment. wtf...

This is ridiculous. He made sure the man kept his health insurance. It's not like he threw him out on the street. Besides, Jaluke is already on staff at TT now.

Screw N.O.. Plenty of talent outside the shitty city. Don't send a single recruiter inside the city limits and watch how fast they say we are discriminating after said boycott.

This is a dumbass line of thinking. If this had happened a few years ago, would you be okay missing out on fournette and Mathieu?

LSU needs NOLA players. Too much talent to lose out on.

I have no idea what's going on, but you would think Mr louisiana himself would've been able to diffuse the situation upfront. Drama follows O...get used to it.

Couldn't agree more.

If O saw that JJ wasn't getting it done how would you recommend he relieve him of his duties?

People really think O should hold the program back because some NOLA PE teachers aren't happy?

McDonough 35, Edna Karr, Warren Easton, St Aug

Where are the Principles at these schools, Take charge, those HC are out of line with this dictating to students what to do with such a important decision. It could very likely affect the rest of their lives. So if they direct them away for LSU and they bomb at the school they were steered to, could the student sue the HC because of bad direction ???

I have a strong feeling these HC have their pockets lined with cash by other coaches to keep these kids from going to LSU. And another Handful of cash to DIRECT THEM to the school giving Money.

Nothing new here. Just like the politicians using people as pawns to get people jobs. In this case they are using high school students. This is only a microcosm of a larger problem.

The mistake was this meeting becoming public knowledge. The superintendents of each school (or Head Master - St Aug) should step in and explain the riot act to the respective coaches. These coaches are way way out of line.

Glad to see one school has backed away from what would have been a stain on its athletic reputation.

Shame on them. Julukes time was done and a new supervisor is coming in (Canada). Is what it is.

Kinda like the black highschool head coaches meeting to talk about boycotting LSU, which was specifically mentioned in the article?

Looks like they are showing their true colors as well.

Mickey Joesph and Oregeron have already called all the coaches involved and are in the process of smoothing things over now.. What we did land in Robinson is not only the pipeline in Bama, but also in California as well.. he was a solid get..

The more you look at Joesph's resume the more you will be impressed. He has a solid reputation in New Orelans.. you have to keep that pipeline. Jaluke was brought in for one reason and one reason only. And that was to steer NO kids to LSU, he failed to do that, that is why he lost his job.. Accountability. you make what a doctor makes and have basically a PE degree, you better produce. We did not do well in the state of LA, we bolstered our recruiting very well with these two hires. Also found out that School boards and principals got heavily involved yesterday.. Dont underestimate the power of boosters and their connections to school boards, when administrators make a phone to the AD and say "hey, you stay out of this or your arse will be out on the street next year they will do it.. I know this happened as ST. Aug last night.. got word of this this morning..

You "sir" are the very reason this board is challenging to participate in

I don't give a shite about who you are or where you from, but don't come on here shitting on New Orleans then cry foul when I check your arse about Vinton, LA.

considering all the excuses people want to give O when someone brings up how many kids left the state, this seems like a shitty reason to fire JJ

and don't get me wrong, O could fire him for whatever reason, just that people seem fine with holding JJ responsible for some of the misses, but not O

I never realized Orgeron had to get their (NOLA Coaches) permission to do his job.

The university, the team, and the fans must answer to the NOLA coaches. Wow - didn't know that.
