lol Once again someone that knows nothing, but is saying something like you know what happened. LSU graciously gave him a administrative position, huh?? Mighty nice of them.

Saban plays the game. Any high school coach who thinks he's being shown respect is getting manipulated and just doesn't realize it.
Whatever. It's telling Saban never had this happen during his entire career coaching in the SEC. But, a guy from Louisiana like O runs into this kind of static? There's something there.

but there just doesnt seem to be an upside to allowing a kid to be recruited by and develop a relationship with a coach you plan on getting rid of the second the kid signs his letter. Hard for future kids to put alot of trust in a program that does that.
Well then they shouldn't go to any big time program bc coaching attrition happens at every program in America especially the big ones. It's a business, I love what K Vincent said best, I committed to a school not a coach and that's how you should approach it, if not you will be very disappointed. GT

Think about the ramifications of this a couple years down the road if this happens and they stick with it.
These kids are going to go where they want to go. Their high school coach ain't stopping them from going to a certain college if they grew up loving a certain school or if they have it in their minds to go to a certain college.

No it is not. I am talking about the actual action of him firing a coach. Not His process of deciding whether or not to fire a coach. If you can't see they are too different scenarios then by all means continue in ignorance.
And if you cant see that same personality flaw of Miles that wouldnt allow him to publicly fire a coach because he was concerned about their image, is the same flaw that caused him to not make crucial staff decisions that would better the program, than you are the ignorant one.

And "lack of performance" you say?? You know that because Orgeron told you in his office, right?? Sure you're right, asswipe!
So Orgeron let them go because he was thrilled with their performance? Idiot.

you don't do to a St. Aug alum.
Wow, not sure how to take this. Is St Aug the Skull and Bones of high schools? All bow down to St Aug. Holy shite

Do You hardly think that if ANY of the players at ANY of these schools wants to come to LSU that a coach will stop them....no way in Hell!
If they want to be a Tiger they will come if not they can be "TIGER BAIT!"
If they want to be a Tiger they will come if not they can be "TIGER BAIT!"

Why did only the black coaches meet? Oh I forgot, in today's world the only thing that matters is race, forget performance, judge me on my skin color. Just the way MLK always preached.

Coach O wins a title the kids will come regardless.

We will find out later this year if Coach O is our Messiah of LSU Football.

You have no idea who I am, where I've been, what I've done, and who I have worked with or associated with. Do not associate my address with your opinion of my knowledge of LSU athletics.
You "sir" are the very reason this board is challenging to participate in.

Racist??? The fact that's he gonna hire another black from Nola says hey
Doesn't matter. They were fired for being black. Not on job performance. That's how these things work these days.
I miss the days you can fire someone for sucking at their job.
