New OL Starters? I wouldn't be surprised if Devin Harper gets a look at LG

or whoever the next man up is there. Also, RT is still a lingering problem. Thompkins or whoever might be an option. I am not concerned about who the players are--just that they are getting better.

Much of QBs issues were caused by inability to run the ball.

I don't know who is next in line for the Oline positions. I do know Lane doesn't stay stuck in neutral.

If these guys aren't cutting it, something else will be tried.

I'll trust what Lane and Charlie Weis choose to do offensively.

Honestly I thought RG looked worse than LG, but yeah it's weak in the middle and on the right side for sure

Would be nice to have 5 Jordan Seaton's on the line. He's the only who really seems to give a ton of effort every play

I know Harper is next man up at G.

Has there been any word on Solomon Thomas? That guy was a 5 star IOL coming out of school, which is rare. I thought (if healthy) he'd be making a real push to start this year.

Leavitt was throwing behind and underthrowing receivers in both games. I don't think the main problem has been the O-line. He also made some mistakes by not getting rid of the ball a couple of times in this game.

Yes, the O-line could have been better, but I doubt they will make any changes.

That being said, it is never a given that Lane will not replace a starter; it is always about what he and the staff think is the best option for the team to win.

I think people are more concerned about the first half running game when talking about the o line.

Definite PTSD from last year.

Bordelon has not played well. Have given up a team high 5 pressures in two games.

RT is not a problem. The QB decision making is the problem, but you all not ready for that conversation.

Bordelon whiffed on many plays too. I was watching him in the first half, that was probably his worst game ever. I don’t know who’s behind him or if they will get a shot?

Is Bordelon playing because he's actually the best at LG or is he playing because of who his dad is and the money that was spent on portal players?

Probably a dickhead question to ask, but I can't believe we don't have anyone better to play that position after what we spent in the portal.

Sure would've been nice to put a little more money on both lines instead of taking 30 WRs.

The problem with changing starters on the OL is that these 5 guys have been working together since Borderlon jumped Harper in the spring. So if you replace somebody—or somebodies—that side of the line has to start over a bit with learning how to play together.

Not saying if they’ve figured out a backup is actually better than a starter that they shouldn’t—or won’t—pull the trigger. But you better be sure they’re better going into that environment in our 1st game away from Tiger Stadium. I think they get some other guys more reps this week with the 1s for sure. So if I had to bet, if any changes are made, it will probably be next week.

However, if somebody’s getting their arse handed to them Saturday, I don’t think they’ll hesitate to make a change mid game.
