Exactly! So it's ok for the fans to boo the hell out of refs who are part of the game on a bad call, but your telling me I can't boo a damn coach who can't make the right damn decision in the 1st quarter of a game! Please, I pay good money for my tickets and I can't yell all I want or boo all I want for that matter.

Apparently Harris didn't see it this way.

Harris chided fans for the boos.

“It’s not something I’m for at all,” said Harris, allowed to speak to reporters for the first time this season. “I think we need to rally behind Anthony.”

Said Dural of Jennings: “He looked pretty down.”

But...but....but....they are just ASSUMING the fans were booing Jennings. It's SEMANTICS!!!

I believe the players know who is being booed. But they do not like it is going to a guy they view as their father and someone they gave a commitment to. What player would ever say.. Nah booing doesn't bother me because it was meant towards my coach... Just ask any former player about it.

im fine with booing, you're booing the group as a whole and the coaching staff for continuing to ram their heads into a brick wall.

the idiot students chanting 'we want harris', that is a different story

Was Jennings making the mistakes? Yep. But I think most agree that it was Les' decision to keep him in after those mistakes that drew the most reaction.

Agreed. Also, the fact that we're all still arguing here today is because most of us believe there is still a quarterback controversy. If BH were named the starter right now, most all of us would move on and go back to being fans, even the most ardent AJ and CLM supporters. The controversy is being caused by the coaches, not bad fans.

Yeah, it takes a big man to sit in the stands and boo a young guy who is struggling.

How very brave of you!

Question.. Did fans boo following the int or when he came back into the game?

Are they not? Do they know the reason the majority of them were booing? The student's chants were far worse.

My opinion is booing him coming onto the field is more about the coaches decision. Booing the int is more player driven.

GFY is not a profanity in any way and fans should remain silent when pissed. No booing or chanting. You probably shouldn't talk too loud to your neighbor in the stadium as well in case it gets misconstrued for any displeasure at all.

Yep nothing but a useless trash. We don't need them. There's no place for booing an LSU player or LSU coaches.

The fans were showing their frustration with Miles. It's his job to pull a player who just doesn't have it. He pulled Domingue after he kicked the ball out of bounds on a kick off; he pulled Hillard after he fumbled the ball...but he left Jennings in after giving the ball away 3 times and never coming close to completing a significant pass.

Miles is an idiot.

If we are going to pay the coaching staff as much as we do then I have every right to verbally demonstrate my displeasure when they act stubbornly and refuse to aknowledge when a QB switch should and needs to occure. However, if the players feel as though they are the target I will refrain from booing.

instead of booing, fans should chant Leslie Miles's salary when they are unhappy with him.

Why do fans owe anything to a college player? Someone in college is old enough to vote as well as fight and die for this country. Our society, therefore, considers them to be adults capable of making, and being held accountable for, their decisions and actions.

So if you go through the huge hassle of attending an LSU game, not to mention the high cost, why are you not allowed to demand your money's worth? It's not like the players are volunteering. They are getting their education and room and board paid for. This is their job. Their job is to entertain the fans. The fans have a right to demand quality entertainment.
