Holy shitz if LSU suspended WW and all this was over the defense trying to bring Wade in to testify that he didn't offer illegal benefits and that Dawkins didn't bribe them!!!
The defendants want to show illegal benefits were offered, but the coaches were more than willing participants and were not bribed to do so

Dickie V.'s ego will never let him admit he owes an apology.
But really, the press and our administration acted like many of the folks who post on here or elsewhere: they jump to conclusions and never let facts get in the way.

WHY NO STICKY?!?!?!?!?!?!?!???!?

WW wasn’t suspended for taking a bribe.
WW was suspended based on the released portion of a transcript that seems to suggest WW was discussing an offer tilted towards the mother and kid and Smart wanting s bigger piece of the pie for himself.
Keep in mind the fbi and ncaa have an agreement in place that fbi evidence will be turned over to the ncaa.
I would think an ncaa investigation is on the horizon.

So after all this time, Wade was to be called as proof that he DIDNT take bribes. Holy shite.
When and where has it ever been reported or suggested that he was bribed?
Posted on 4/6/19 at 11:10 am to prplngldtigr
All of that can be true and it was still dumb af to suspend him.

Dawkins is accused of bribing coaches, not players. No one has ever suggested Dawkins was involved with LSU recruiting or bribed Wade or our players for that matter.
What is on the tape, based only on the leaked transcripts, may suggest Wade offered players. ANd they may not

Regardless of what anyone wants to believe, this development isn’t relevant to the origins of WW’s suspension.

Sad that Joe Alleva threw away a great season and a chance to go deep into the NCAA tournament without knowing all of the facts.
I am so tired of this shite!
Sweet sixteen is deep, and you have absolutely no reason to think LSU would have beaten Michigan State with Wade. Yes, they may have, but quit letting fantasy and hope influence judgement.

Where is a link to the idea that the FBI is going to hand over its evidence to the NCAA.... that misinformation is coming from an Emmert statement that was made last year in December, and he never said the FBI was handing over everything.
It would also be against the law to release a lot of that information, such as grand jury testimony. Some information may be available to the NCAA, but FBI is not handing over all their evidence to the NCAA.
Proof of that is the fact that the NCAA filed a motion with the first court asking for access to inadmissible evidence from the trial. If the FBI is giving that information to the NCAA, then why did the NCAA ask the court for access to this information.
The reason why Wade testifying was a big deal is because anything he says at trial or any evidence admitted becomes public evidence. Without that, the NCAA isn't likely to get access to FBI files on Wade.

exculpatory evidence
It's NOT exculpatory evidence. A guy who's charged with robbing a bank can't offer in his defense that he was in banks on two other occasions and didn't rob them.

If the FBI are jackbooted fascist, what are Dawkins, Alleva, King, Williams and the Nike/Adidas CEOs?

Remember that time Wade said to wait for all the facts to come out...?
Thanks Alleva.
