I don’t think it’s JJ’s style. But a good arse CHEWING to wake these snowflakes up is needed.

Somehow I feel like it's a Les Miles season when we screw up bad and fall apart.
That's kind of how it feels. Good recruiting classes, top pro prospects, decent enough win count to not get fired, but not much hardware. Like on the Miles teams, the players didn't really develop all that much, they were just already good when they showed up. The ones that didn't already have "it" naturally did terrible.

SEC tournament will be interesting if this team is ready for post season.

And the slip ca be further if they don't bounce back at Gerogia in a big way this weekend.

We were preseason #1 & held that majority of the season, but this is the least I’ve ever watched LSU baseball.
As soon as pitchers started dropping like flies I knew it would be high expectations met with disappointment.
I know it’s not uncommon around the league, but just looking at the way the staff was built & who was lost / returning from injury… probably one too many for a fruitful postseason.
I’m impressed with what they’ve accomplished all things considered. This is not our year, and I think Johnson probably gets a pass for one-off terrible luck, still very early into his tenure.

I don’t see how we get out of a regional. We 100% have to go undefeated. Probably start Floyd in game 1, which will be a toss up depending on who backs him up. Skenes game 2. Then Johnny whole staff game 3 and potentially 4? If we lose 1 of the first 2 games and have to play 5 games, good lord.

No chance. This team is done.
Lol this board is hilarious. People act like our bullpen has played like this all year and arent capable of winning games. How did we win every series up to last weekend then? Have they pitched terrible the last couple weeks? Absolutely. Are they capable of pitching better and not blowing games? Absolutely. We have seen it plenty times this season. Stop being such prisoners of the moment. We need some guys to get confidence back and get out of funks and some of the less used guys get comfortable. Season is far from lost but they def have to be better than they have been.

I'd find it funny if our bullpen suddenly helped to throw 27 shut out innings in the last weekend.

That is going to be tough to do.

Stanford #3 and LSU #5 Still funny?
Yes, since you think it's that big of a deal it is funny.

After we fail to make semifinals in SEC tournament we'll be ranked outside top 8.

We need a sweep to get a top 8 seed for sure. That’ll be hard to do with garbage pitching.

Lol national seed is all but wrapped up
I wouldn’t be so sure. LSU is 1-4 last 5 games. LSU is 2-2 over its last 4 midweek games, LSU has lost 2 of its last 3 series. If you lose 2 of 3 to UGA and don’t make deep run in Hoover, I think you fall outside the top 8. If you lose series to UGA, you will finish the season 2-6 over you last 8 games. You will host a regional, but I wouldn’t be so sure about a top 8 seed just yet. UGA gonna be tough at home this weekend for you guys.

Not making a Super with that bullpen, especially if they keep pitching like that have, so a top 8 seed is meaningless

Talk about dramatic

More than likely someone is going to have to beat LSU twice with their 4th and 5th options at starter and a depleted bullpen. That evens the playing field from a pitching perspective and gives the advantage to LSU’s offense and home field.

What a total collapse.
They been reading too much BS about how wonderful they are.
State showed them just how wonderful they are.
Now time for Johnson & Johnson and the LD's to "Shite or get off the Pot."

Need that and I’m the final game of SEC tournament to get a national seed.

Relief pitching will be LSU’s undoing in the postseason.
Posted on 5/15/23 at 4:44 pm to Load Toad
To get a national seed need to win series at Georgia and get to the final in SEC tournament.
