No matter. If LSU beats UF & Auburn... that’s the best resumé in the nation and you probably see them hop Clemson in the polls. If not, it will at least be a point of contention nationally in CFB as they approach hate week.

Coaches Poll has us at #6. I’m okay with this in that I want our guys playing to prove they are the best. This will feel like disrespect (which it is) and should piss them off. Now, let’s go curb stomp everybody and earn that respect.

This thread is about the poll. It is clear from the title. We get it! "Win out and polls don't matter."
However, this is a message board. People come on to discuss topics. If you don't care about polls, go to another thread. No need to shite on those who are interested.
And yes, polls matter. Even now. Polls shape conversation. Polls determine who has a better resume. Polls determine TV times. Polls determine which games get the most eyeballs.

Yes Clemson should have dropped instead LSU. Almost losing to UNC is ridiculous.

Exactly. Wtf is that bullshite? Horrible play call by UNC on that 2 point conv. Clemson got outplayed and deserved to lose that game. Clemson should have dropped more than 1 spot for sure. If this was the CFP poll, they would have dropped more. Clemson may lose a game this season, when nobody thought it was possible with their weak arse schedule. They were not impressive at all Saturday.
