Polls don’t matter right now, especially the AP Poll in the playoff era. I’d rather not be so highly ranked anyways because it could make us complacent. The voters not showing us respect will do nothing but motivate this team even more

They played a punching bag. I'm not saying they aren't good, but nobody on their schedule is likely to seriously challenge them before the playoffs. Meanwhile we will have played at least 3 and possibly as many as 5 top 10 teams.

Clemson needed a failed 2-point conversion to beat a 2-2 UNC team. They deserve to drop in the polls, but they're still getting credit for last year until they lose.
