They need to add a project on Gourrier Lane, expand it to four lanes RIGHT NOW! starting tomorrow, and have them ready for the 2013 Season.

I would like to see something to make crossing Nicholson a bit safer. An appropriately built crosswalk would be nice. The police aren't always there and sometimes you just have to scamper across to get to the New Box.
Crosswalk would allow for cars to contentiously move after a game instead of waiting behind cops because half of the fans are trying to get to their cars.
Just a thought.

You know how when you were a kid and you went to chucky cheeses and you said this place is awesome, now if you have to go back today you say it is nasty. Well that is the same thing with the old Alex box. Sure it was awesome at the time, but when you compare chucky cheeses to Ruth chris's Ruth's wins every time.

I like the view of the all the crap stored in left center. Sometimes I wonder how much thought goes into planning out new facilities and additions. The view of TS is pretty legit though.

New stadium just not fan friendly, too far from field. Did anyone exit threw left field and behind center field--only 6 to 9 inches of water over side walk. Great planning

Park by old box, walk the tracks, wipe sand from vag and resume complaining about Hawthorne, the umps or jumbotrons.

the new box is great and it will develop its own traditions. Also it has plenty of the magic the old box had we just haven't had the opportunity to tap into it like we did at the old box.

Damn. Chill pill brah. They should have built the new box where the new softball stadium is.
personally I wouldn't be surprised if parking factored in slightly to the building of the new box I mean would there really be that much immediate room around the new box if it was built where the softball stadium is.
I don't mind the location of the box sucks that it is further from campus but its not so far from campus that you have to drive a long time to get there.

Old Box was a dump & absolutely miss nothing about it. Love the new one.

I miss tailgating at the old box right across from the gates and our seats were closer to the field. My only complaint with the new box is Gerry lane championship plaza, and the ushers too.

You don't like the smell of cow patties?
Neither do I.

I miss the old Box and like the access much better.
There is ONE elevator for fan use at the Box and too many stairs. In some seating areas you have to climb stairs to go around the rail and descend the same stairs to get to your seat. This sucks.
Whoever designed this place needs to be shot.
I hate the traffic in the area. I live not far down Burbank and on some game days, traffic is a nightmare and it is hard to get home.

Thank you for bringing this up. I've been talking about the same thing with my friends. The old box had a certain charm and presence about it, and the new box albeit bigger does not have it. It just very generic and blah IMO. I would compare the difference of both to Wrigley field and Comiskey park. Comiskey is newer but doesn't have the charm and feel of Wrigley. To me the new box doesn't have it either.
