Wish I was tebow, sorry, I should have worded that different. Like you said they are young, what I meant was I wish some of them had more experience.

Cool response. How old are you, because when I see you post, I usually think you're young

Schedule bothers me.. This team has no margin of error to slip up. We don't have a Bama or ND schedule. We have to bring it 90% of the time to win.

You feel better this year than you did this time last year when we were loaded?

Notre Dame's schedule is pretty tough. Take off the glasses.

we're pretty much "loaded" every year. Last year people were getting way to hyped about Mettenberger. Sort of understandable given how bad the QB situation had been, but it was out of hand. Once Mathieu got suspended, it was clear the secondary was going to have holes and when Faulk got hurt I think the writing was on the wall.

but why? defense is far more easy to replace with young loaded talent than offense which virtually returns every one and adds to it some more playmakers with size.

only guy on defense i truly miss is the MLB.
the two star defensive ends weren't always living up to the hype.. and we are still loaded on the line. of course i would take those guys back in a hurry, but LSU can be better this year than last and absolutely should be.

I felt better about 2006 and 2007.

If I don't get too excited then I won't get too disappointed when we drop two games.

i think we will field a very competitive and exciting team full of playmakers on both sides of the ball capable of winning any game on our schedule. i plan on enjoying this season partly because i do not have NC expectations and really don't have SEC champ expectations. the reason i don't is our schedule simply isn't condusive to winning it all and we have too many young little experienced guys. no matter what any fool bama fan or a&m fan says our line up week after week is likely to produce more injuries and more wear and tear than we can stand to win all of the big games. beating florida, georgia, alabama, tejas a&m in the same year and then getting by TCU, ole miss, auburn and arkansas plus the others seems a little far fetched imo. other than a good exciting 10-2 type of year the thing that would make me the happiest is beating both alabama and a&m.

We will lose 3 or 4 games this I'm afraid but it will be an exciting season with some very competitive games nd an upset or two.

LOL saying that we'll get lit up on D is the equivalent of telling Bama they'll get lit up.

LSU's defense was ranked north of 70 in 08'. We get Chavis and it's ranked 27th the very next year. We have been inside the top 11 the next three years(ranked 8th last year, 2nd in 2011, 11th in 2010).

You can cut that other bullshite out right now.

I'm worried about the defense. We're going to need a lot of young guys to step up.

A ton of those guys are already established, just not big names. Take barrow for example. He had over a hundred tackles last year but minter had 130 so people didn't talk about barrow.

The Oline will be flat out destroying people. It's probably our best unit.

Our receivers are established. They started eliminating drops last year towards the end.

Our RBs. You already know.

Cam will have mett polished.

Our DBs weren't that bad last year. Just young. Look for mills to be the next big thing and as much as people have been sleeping on Collins, I expect all this young talent has him busting his arse to step up. If not white will be there and I expect Jefferson to see PT at nickle. Loston will be bustin heads.

DL: we have some talented frickers there with experience. Like every year.

Lbs will be flat out nasty. Look for beckwith to start after a few games if welter doesn't hold on to the spot. Barrow will be the leading tackler and kwon will likely end up taking over the other side.

<<<<--- not worried.

I think we will be a better team this year and more fun to watch (esp offensively), but due to the schedule we'll end up with the same record.

I'd looooooove to have Bama's cake schedule

I mean come on this is just about as easy as a modern SEC schedule can get. The only hurdles are A&M and LSU.
