Absolutely nothing you can do about it. Even if you stop buying merchandise, stop paying TAF dues, sell tixs etc. Someone else will step up and replace you. If you are not top 100 TAF member it won't matter. Folks in positions of power laugh behind their backs at folks saying stuff like this. Behind your back they give the constant complainers the middle finger and think folks with your opinions are morons anyway. LSU is not only one. Administrators and top boosters of other programs think the same. It is only when THEY get mad or see a need somewhere is when you can expect a change. Going cheap...do you pay the bill directly? For the top TAF members who do your opinion is chiite. Same for Bama, UF, Aubie, USC etc. fan base/booster situations.

Yes because being happy that LSU has basically said they have no interest in competing for national championships with the elites is something we should get behind.
It isn't just O's fault, it's the admin, O, the boosters. Everyone involved, and no just getting behind them blindly is maybe the worst thing to do. That just confirms they did the right thing.
O has to win, and win big, and they have to know fans are unhappy, because otherwise we will never get rid of him if he does fail.

No, FAT BASTARD, the point of a MESSAGE BOARD would be to exchange information (messages, in case you don't understand).
We get the unhappiness. There have only been about 4,397 - or whatever number - posters bitching about something they can't change.
What's done is done. Alleva said he vetted 10-12 candidates. In case that word is too big for bitchers to understand, it means checked-out. Some of the names have even been mentioned. Some of those names even correspond to people's pet dick-rides they were trying to push. If people don't know who Alleva talked to and what he found out, then they have no idea what did or didn't go into the search and all they're doing is shouting their uninformed opinions.
I've seen four-year-olds kicking and screaming in Wal Mart who are more mature than some of the posters on here.
Negativity can only hurt the program. Believe it or not, some outsiders read it and it may influence their opinion.
So, why don't you and all the other idiots who only want to scream and cry about it start a BITCH BOARD? That way, people would know not to expect anything intelligent when they go there.

not always. it happens. take a look back in time. We will not need a losing record for it to happen either.
remember we have a lot more debt service now than back in those days if they want seats filled. So, that means they need to put a better product on the field. Even the big boosters will have no control of that if all the "little" guys stop buying.

Well said BigSlick. These arse holes with the 10,000 plus posts think only their negativity counts. If there were a bitch board we'd lose probably 85% of the negators off the Rant. Now that would be nice.
