frick if I know, man... that's twice today I've gotten burned for Ctrl+C from SDS.

Godchaux, Lacouture
Beckwith, Louis
White, Adams, Mills, Robinson(?)

Better stick with 7.

Pretty much how I see it as well. It's really hard to see us doing worse than last year, even if some of our question marks turn out badly. On the flip side, every game on our schedule is winnable if things go right. I said 10-2 in the last prediction thread, so I'm sticking with that.

Gimmies: 4 non conference games Miss State, Florida

Toss ups: At USCe, at Bama, at OM, Ark, A&M, Aub

Think we go 3-3, or 4-2 in toss ups

Realistic: 9-3/10-2

I guess I'll let all you Nostradamus like folks just explain the whole season, so I better quit reading this thread. I actually enjoy seeing all the wrong answers including my own

Negative: 7-8 wins
Realistic: 9-10 wins
Positive: 11-12 wins

Although, to be honest, anything from 8-11 wins could be a realistic expectation.

I'm with you, but I think we improve 1 game on last year and go 9-3. This all hinges on the defense not dropping off at all though, which I'm not certain is a guarantee at this point.

Stupid negative: 6-6
Negative: 7-5 at best
Mostly negative but more realistic:
8-4
Realism: 9-3 but knows 8-4 or 10-2 could happen and realizes it.
Optimistic but still fairly realistic: 10-2
Optimistic: 11-1
Stupid optimistic: 12-0

9-3 is realistic.

10 wins is the standard bearer for Les and it's his ceiling, also it's what he seems to define as successful so that should be optimistic.

8 wins was a huge letdown for most fans last year so that is the floor. Anything below that and Les should be fired. If it weren't for great recruiting we would probably have had 2 more 8 win seasons in the last 5 years.

Sounds about right. I think we'll go 9-3.

People have their purple and gold glasses on this time of year. Regardless of how good we are, the SEC West is stacked! Every single one of those games is a potential loss. It would not surprise me a bit if we lost to AL, Aub, Ole Miss and aTm and maybe Ark and/or SC.

Why do you look at the schedule and see these as games as losses
Some people are just constant pessimists when it comes to LSU football. Last years' qb production was dismal, thus no one ever improves and we're screwed.
This team has a huge chip on it's shoulder and several leaders on the field that don't want to accept the mediocrity of last year - prepare to see a lot of tune changing from the fans when they prove it.

I choose to stay positive. We may lose, but it'll be a great season.

11-1 . . . LSU is coming.
