Need to whip KY this week

Like Bama beat MSU. Have to prove we can kick a$$ playing away. I would like to see a 48-17 type score with this defense and offense.

I think we need to roll over KY, MSU, and Aubie. I see no reason not to. I’d try to hang 70 on all 3 just because. Time to start shutting people up now we are starting to gel.

KY in Lexington has not been easy for LSU.

All I want is a win. That’s all that matters.
The pollsters will underrate us no matter what we do. Just win, baby

Will Stein will have a solid game plan on offense. UK has been tough on us and have been tough in their games this season.
It will be a test.
I like our defense against their offense better than their defense against our offense.

Sloan is not a good OC and this isn't his offense, but I'm sure he knows all of Baker's tendencies and formations on defense. He will help Stein get them very prepared on offense to attack our defense.
We just need to show up emotionally and I think we roll, but if come out flat, I'm nervous about this game on the road at night.

We have played there 2 times in 24 years.

we used to play them every year before the first conference expansion, then we only played them on rare occasion.
When I was a kid living two hours east of Lexington the only time I could bank on seeing LSU play in person was every other year when they played at UK. It was always glorious for us to return to school the following Monday wearing purple and gold with a big smile on our faces while every else would say, "Just wait 'til basketball season." (We beat then plenty at basketball too when Dale Brown was our coach.)

Both the KY and MSU games will be closer than expected. We've seen what Bama's defense was able to do and LSU's defense has to replicate that when playing MSU. Same strategy, have to get pressure on the MSU QB often and early and make him make bad decisions. KY just seems like a scrappy team that will find a way to stay in it.
Both should be good games.

There is not one player or coach on this team that was present for the last loss there.
That is superstitious BS.
The past has nothing to do with whats going to happen Saturday. Win or lose
