Need The Rants Ruling On a Bet

I had a bet with a co-worker that Brandon Harris would be starter for LSU and take the first snap of the season as the starting quarterback. Brandon Harris was indeed named the starter, jogged out on the field as such, and took the first snap of the season. However, now that the game is "canceled" and no stats count, what should be the outcome of our bet? Should it roll over to this week against Miss State as technically game 1, do I win the bet, or should the bet be voided (no fine print in this contract).
Keep in mind - I would just roll it over to this week as a I am confident in who our starter is, but something COULD happen this week to make Jennings become the starter for snap one of this game (injury, arrest, Les being Les, etc.)
What say the rant...

I rule that you already won the bet. I think that the QB role will belong to Brandon Harris. I predict that he and the Tigers will get on a roll. He will settle into his role as the starter, pending he doesn't roll his ankle again like last season. Let's pray this doesn't happen, or Jennings would then assume the role of QB.

They are saying that since the game is not official and there are no stats that technically game 1 has not been played yet.
