Yes but like OP mentioned, they're likely going in less banged up than the rest of us. It's a bunch of scrimmages until December.

What codes? Every university has contracts with donors that have strings attached.

think when the dust settles, this is your 2026-27 playoffs. I base this one who o think will win and lose til the end: Indiana will NOT BE THERE.
1 Notre Dame
2 Miami
3 Georgia
4 Ohio State
5 Texas Tech
6 Texas
7 LSU
8 Utah
9 Florida
10 Houston
11 Iowa
12 Wake Forest
Don’t hate the player. Hate the game. No, these are not the best 12 but the system instead takes the 12 that meet its criteria. I don’t see ND losing again and Texas Tech and Houston don’t have a weekly elimination game like the SEC teams do.
So, LSU with two losses will have a Texas Bowl rematch with Houston before playing Miami in a neutral site

Miami will beat ND badly, BYU may also.
OSU will beat Indiana if they play like they have been. The game against USC will also be close. Cignetti doesn’t have a roster full of 25-26 year olds this year.

There will be a lot of really good 9-3 sec teams after the conference beats itself up all season. Adding that 9th conference game was incredibly dumb on Stankeys part.

This has been known and the rise of 4-12 team playoffs have made the conference unnecessary. The season is not the playoff anymore. It’s sad

Not one of those 3 will make it through the playoffs. They may MAKE the playoffs, but don't have the resume to win it all. From my eyes the best are UGA, TX & Ohio State.

They literally won a bunch of playoff games and made it to the natty two years ago, last time they were in the playoffs with a fairly bum QB. and played OSU fairly competitively. Beat Cignetti’s Indiana, a solid Penn State team, and SEC champs Georgia to get there. I think they could wreck shop again should they be let in the playoffs, even if they’re blowing out weaker teams during the season.
