Keep seeing where Clark is the consensus top pick, with Reese being top 10.

Are these Juniors really gonna leave and take a major pay cut? Have either of them discussed the issue?

I could see a school offer Clark multimillions to transfer.

Clark is still gonna make a lot of money off endorsements even if she leaves

I only care enough to say nobody cares. Hope they all save their NIL money because it’ll be more than they make in the pros. Only pro league where the kids are in no hurry to get to.

The only one from LSU that is probably leaving is HVL. That's why we only have 1 recruit.

This doesn't include any bonuses or incentives, which may or may not be part of their contract.

Look I’m happy the women’s basketball program is elite again but you’re a frothing idiot if you think any school is going to offer a WBB multiple millions of dollars for one season

They'll still make money through endorsements. It won't be a pay cut for the big NIL earners.

Reese's NIL valuation is $1.7 million according to On3 and others.

Honestly, Reese should go pro after this year. With the talent the team has her numbers are only going to go down.

They're not taking a pay cut to go pro. That is a misnomer. Colleges don't "pay" their athletes. They arrange for them to get ENDORSEMENTS via the NIL rules. Professional players ALSO get endorsements..................generally more than college athletes. It will be no different for Caitlin Clark or Angel Reese.

please name 1 WNBA player, and her endorsement.

Other than Griner, i don’t know one single WNBA player.

Does anyone, and i mean ANYONE, watch WNBA? It wouldn’t exist without the heavy subsidies from the NBA.

College women's basketball is a sport where NIL can be more lucrative than pro because the college supporters are more passionate than wnba at places like LSU. Maybe 1 or 2 WNBA players are making as much as Reese is right now.

The WNBA draft is a joke. Any league where at least a third of the first-round picks don't make the opening day roster is a joke. League wouldn't exist if the NBA wasn't propping it up.

This is NOT a shot at women's basketball. It's a shot at the WNBA and NBA for essentially turning women's pro basketball into a farce. Alexis Morris deserved better than being celebrated as a first-round pick on draft night only to be cut a short time later.

I miss Alexis so much - oh what this team could do this year if she was still the point guard. BUT, she was not a first round pick for the WNBA. She was #22 of 36, so taken at the bottom of the 2nd round. It is fairly common for only 1st rounders to make a roster, and even that doesn't happen in all cases.

Clearly, you know nothing about the sport. Candace Parker alone makes over $5 million/year in endorsements, which is three times as much as Angel Reese.

correct, i know zero about the WNBA. And i’d guess 99% of the population is the same.

what are those endorsements? Because i wouldn’t know Candace Parker if she was standing in front of me and i certainly don’t know what she endorses.

Enlighten me, please.

I can't. I also can't name one female US soccer player besides Rapinoe. I can't name any U.S. professional skiers, snowboarders, skateboarders , etc. Doesn't mean some of them aren't making millions in endorsements.
