Coaches now a days are more worried about victory. Hats off to Robinson for great performance. He pitched 190 pitches this weekend. That is selfish from the coach

Yeah, I feel bad for him. Their coach ruined him for the rest of the season I'm sure.

You wouldn't have started this thread if Poche started tonight and pitched 7 shutout innings

Is working Friday and Monday now considered to be working the weekend?

High School's have a pitch count count rule.

Just accept the fricking L and quit being a bitch

So you are mad at Houston because they pitched their best pitcher?

Don't be so butthurt

Dude was a relief pitcher, not a starter. I don't think we need the official rules dictating what you can do with your bullpen. He was also still effective in the last inning.
Would you also like to limit appearances per week- and get rid of your closer?
Get over it, we lost.

You're catching shite, but I do agree.

I am serious. That kid's arm will probably be ruined now.
And no, I'm not just saying that so LSU could've had a chance. Because it wouldn't have mattered, we'd have lost either way.

First of all. If you're not a pro prospect EVERY college player would Happily risk hurting their arm to continue their season or career. Secondly - you don't "ruin" your arm by throwing a lot of pitches back to back, you increase your chance of getting hurt. If you don't get hurt you're good to go in a week.
I don't have a problem with it at all

No, this isn't little league. If coaches abuse arms it will catch up to them eventually.

I don't believe in over pitching these kids, but this is not new.
Skip did this with Ben McDonald to win a Regional and know what? Not one damn complaint, because we won.
