The truth is ...
HOW OFTEN DO WE HAVE THESE TYPES OF GAMES?
..if refs did their job games would end earlier.

Why don't they just go to NFL overtime rules? I've always thought college football overtime was retarded.

bring back ties for regular season games. Or at very least do it like the NFL with a clock, kicking and after still tied after 10 minutes, its a tie.

Should just make it like the NFL

Yep. I hate the college OT.

It's really the only major sport that changes the way the game is play in OT from regulation. Just put 10:00 minutes on the clock and let it roll. If player's safety is a significant concern, then make it sudden death (like the NFL used to be). In college the kickers aren't as automatic as they are in the NFL, so it's not as much of a "given" that the team who wins the toss will win the game.

Sudden death overtime would be horrible in college where nobody can stop anybody. Might as well just play rock paper scissors and get it over with.

Watch how many "Not Intentional" calls Bama players get vs being ejected even if it is intentional.

I can see where it makes sense. 2 OTs with normal rules. 2 OTs where you have to go for 2 after a TD then it's the 2 point plays from then on.

So both LSU and the Saints are changing rules. Too bad we were on the losing end in both games...

I guess that means that’ll be the longest game ever in college football history. No way teams score 6 consecutive (3) 2 point conversions.

I’m still pissed a bullshite pass interference kept our game from going to an 8th OT

I'm still pissed that A&M was allowed to get set up and then spike the ball with :01 left of the clock. The spike never should've been allowed to happen. Game over.

What good are changes to the targeting rule when the same assholes in Birmingham who are in charge of the bad officials that threw the flag are also in charge of the review?

STOP the Pussification of football.
Let these boys grow into Men.
I love Burrow's comments about toughness being a part of the game. "If you can't handle it don't ever suit up to begin with." Pretty simple, huh?

I'm still pissed the head coach played give-up football on third and goal and fourth and goal when a TD would have won the game.

The NCAA should just improve the officiating.
