You scored 7 runs in 3 games. Pitching wasn’t the problem.

Never said it was a problem. I actually thought our pitchers generally did a really nice job this weekend. I'm specifically commenting about a coaching issue that I have noticed and one that hurt us in a really important spot today

Let’s ignore the fact we’ve had 2 CGs this year for the first time in forever. How does that jive with wasting pitches?

It required like 200 pitches or something from Anderson and Eyanson threw 121.

Jay sucks at teaching hitting. Maybe he should try his luck at calling pitches.

You can take those midweek and early season SEC stats and throw them in the Diversion Canal . We haven’t hit in over 6 weeks . Show me those stats “Mr Stat Guy “!!

Don't blame it all on Yeskie. Cowan sucked severely this series.

He already micromanages everything thing to the extreme. Why would you want him calling pitches?

It was sarcasm. I don’t think he could correctly call pitches any better than his hitting techniques

We scored 7 runs all weekend. I’m not listening to any pitching complaints right now

It sound more like you’re pointing to two games and ignoring the entire rest of the season.

What’s the difference between a problem and an issue? You said it was an issue.

What cost us more than anything were bad at bats, the outfield not catching popups, and A&M getting lucky bloop and infield hits. Nearly every time that team was scoring, there was some nonsense that lead to it. The 8th inning should have been over twice yesterday, but an infield single and a blooper extended the inning before the homer happened.

That inning should have been over with LSU still leading 4-2. Even the double that lead off the inning, even though it was actually hit well, could have been caught, but Pearson ran a bad route to it. The wind was not nearly strong enough to excuse the amount of balls that were misplayed in the outfield by LSU, and A&M seemed to have no problem tracking the ball

Cowan also left the ball up in both of his outings, and didn't look good, but this game mostly came down to miscues, bad luck in the 8th, and once again, not enough offense..

The guy called the pitches all weekend. Until Cowan, it was superb.

Pitch calling didn’t cost us two games.

Cowan missed that pitch. He missed all weekend. They laid off of the change out of the zone. He has been exposed.

I would not say he was exposed; I’d say he wasn’t quite himself this weekend.
