No surprise there from you. Johnny Jones should be mentioned as one of the worst LSU coaches ever.
this is ridiculous. His last season was really bad but he was far from the worst LSU coach ever. Much better than Trent Johnson

I would put Paul Dietzel in the top 10. Any coach that wins a football NC should be in the top 10, his record at LSU was very good overall as well.

So my top 10 all time

1) Bertman (5 NC's)
2) Ed (best season in the history of both LSU and CFB)
3) Saban (2 SEC and 1 NC)
4) Dietzel (2 SEC and 1 NC)
5) Miles (2 SEC and 1 NC)
6) Dale Brown (2 Final Fours, 2 other Elite 8 appearances)
7) Bill Arnsparger (2 SEC titles in 3 years as LSU coach)
8) DD Breaux (no NC's but Close to winning it several times)
9) Cholly Mac (1 SEC title but 70% all-time win %)
10) Will Wade (if he stays here a long time, will be best Basketball coach in history of LSU

Honorable mention, Bernie Moore won 2 SEC titles but could not win Sugar Bowl (0-3) won the Orange in WW2 years and tied the Cotton bowl so 1-3-1 Bowl record is what does not put him where Mac is at 9. Mac actually won some of the big bowl games. MAC was 7-6 in bowl games and won 2 Sugar bowls and 2 Cotton bowls.

John Brady has a better resume than Will Wade at the present time.
2 SEC titles
1 Final Four
2 Sweet 16s
4 NCAAT appearances

I expect Wade to surpass what Brady did, albeit making a final four is going to be tough regardless, but as of right now you can't really give Wade the nod just yet

Skip and Saban are both GOATS in their respective sport, unreal that they were both Tigers.

You should add Pat Henry to that group. From 1987-2003 at LSU he won 27 National Championships.

Actually I got a second thought he could be #1 but ya he or Saban #2 depending on how you prioritize sports.

He wasn’t that bad. But not as good as Brady or Wade and questionable against Johnson

It’s not so much the record. It’s

Blowing a double digit lead in the tourney
Missing the tourney with Simmons
Winning 2 games
