The excuse (including media) will be they beat themselves. Only way around this is to execute on offense. However, I will take the win with all the excuses any day.
People usually always dismiss the football part of the game, depth to overcome obligatory injuries, and turnovers caused by a good defense (not by a bad offense). These are usually used the most by the losing fan base or the media when their favorite team doesn't win.
And if LSU loses to Bama.. it's the refs

They'll come up with something rediculous. I actually heard a guy on XM this morning, blame the loss on 11/3 by having a touchdown stolen from them by the refs on the Eric Reid interception. They are still running rampant with excuses for that game so if they get beat again it will be a much worse continuation of the same pussy shite they generally come up with.

I'm sure it will have something to do with D-Day or Pearl Harbor. But in 35 yrs of following this series I can gurantee you that it will not be because we had the better team.....

Its like uga fans in 03, And 07. They still think they were the better team those years.
Bama fans firget lsu has won 7-10 owning the tide the past decade. Yet the only game they remember is 1/9. Throw out the window that lsu were the sec west chamos, sec chamos, and finished with a better record. In fact if the bcs standings came out after that game. We would prob still edge them out with oregon and wvu winning their games.

Of course, that's all we heard after 11/5. Actually winning the game by simply scoring more points is insufficient, you must beat them by a certain amount (which varies depending on who you ask) for it to be a "win". What's amazing is not a thought is given to require this of anyone except Bama's opponents.

Alabama gained more yards, so they were really the better team and LSU just got lucky.
