Hokie Gajan...terrific FB early, then got a chance to be a feature RB his Sr year. Still love the guy on radio.

This. Also, I thought Michael Clayton was going to the HOF after his rookie year.

ETA: Gabe Northern is another one I thought would be a great pro.

Shawn Burks early 80's linebacker. A little undersized but pound for pound the most bone crushing hitter probably in LSU history. Free agented with the Redskins for 1 year.

I thought Trev Faulk was gonna be a good NFL player with a long career ummm.....not so

David Browndyke. I think he is one of the best kickers in LSU history.

Maybe both Craig & Kevin Steltz, whose blocking was not always appreciated as much as perhaps it should have been.
After he had a solid freshman season, Danny McCray struggled at times and it has been a surprise that he has lasted this long in the NFL and received as much playing time as he has at Dallas.

I was torn between him and Allen Stansberry. If you even looked at that guy, you got a concussion.
Or his running buddy, Pat Rogers - those guys were two of the smartest, hardest-working linebackers I ever saw. Neither got any NFL interest - the stain of Curley, I guess - it almost got Mawae, too. I usually list Stansberry and Rogers together as my most under-rated LSU tandem of players, ever.

His senior season was nice, but his junior season is when he really impressed me (although the job was still Toefields). PLaying RB, PR, KR and played on defense as well.

Justin Vincent in 2003! I was blown away after the 200+ yards against UGA. Thought he was going to be special for LSU and have a great pro-career as well.
