Indiana is a "Big Time" school, but Georgia Tech is a smaller school?
The only thing "Big Time" about Indiana is that they're the Vanderbilt of the B1G.

Cignetti signed a new contract last week that puts him at $11.2 Million/year.
There is no desire to leave that.

This is hard because I don’t think any big time coaches right now would leave their current situations for LSU.
smaller program guys are plenty. Someone who is hungry because we saw what happened with BK the established big time coach.

Lashlee or Brohm. Brohm would be my 1A choice with Lashlee as 1B.

Wouldn’t that actually be Northwestern?

Hard to argue with his results thus far, but he’ll fail at any program with bright lights. Watch some of his interviews, he’ll be a dumpster fire at any program that people pay attention to.
Don’t have time to watch a bunch of press conferences…tell us why you think this

The only thing that worries me about Lane is the attention to detail that it takes to win Championships.
There are multiple interviews suggesting that he often questioned Nick and his dealings with certain things.
Is he now on board and does he finally understand why those details are important, or is he still a rogue operator?
Saying all that id still take him in a second over Kelly so.

Kiffin may want to stay at Old Miss . He has hot yoga , hot co-eds and less pressure than at LSU . If he drops a few games at Old Miss , the fans say Hotty Toddy , give me another dirty martini , as they munch on canapes from their silver service at their tailgate . What is not to like ? He will probably feign interest in the LSU job to get more money from Old Miss . AND , don’t tell me again about Saban coming back to coach .

Only problem if u go with a young up and comer from a smaller school is u never know if they can handle this level with same success and could end up with results like Napier. Young up and coming P4 coaches like Brohm, etc have better chance of success as they are already at bigger schools. We see how it works out with basketball hiring up comers from small schools. It can kill you or you can strike gold like Florida did. Wouldn’t take that chance with football program.

Kiffin hasn't got the balls to fire the worst D coach he's had. Just because Saban said the coach was one of the smartest guys doesnt make him a good coach.
and I love Saban. He said himself at his age it was much harder to attract good assistants. As a Bama fan I'm proud he left when he did.
Now if Kiffin came and got a top Defensive coach.....but he shoud do that at Ole Miss. He's not gonna outscore every damn team. Need a good defense.
Jon Sumarll is who Auburn wants. He's about to make bank.
