I am 6‘3“ and it took a lot of creatine and whey protein just to get to 210 when I was his age. Some people just don’t gain easily. That said, I seem to remember my 210 looking a whole lot different than what is being reported as his 207.

I've got broad shoulders and could easily carry 220 or so. At 205 I still looked scrawny and had a 31" waist.

His build reminds me of Peyton Manning in college.

Needs to be 225

You're getting downvoted, but Brennan is 6'4" and a lean 225 would be an awesome weight for him.

Flacco is 6'6" 245 lbs. He's a tall, statuesque QB with a good arm.

Peyton Manning was 6'5" 230 lbs.

ETA:

215 would be just fine, but a ripped 225 with most of that in the legs would be incredible. Much harder to take down with arm tackles in the pocket.

One solid good hit and he's done.
i keep seeing this and don’t get where it comes from.

Receivers get plastered while running full speed by linebackers and backs. Those forces are much harder than a qb standing still getting hit.

personally dgaf about his weight. not at qb. can he throw? does he have pocket awareness? is he a leader/winner?
exactly. The weight issue is a red herring.

I've said before, I doubt he'll ever start for LSU. Last spring, the stars were aligned for him to take the starting job, since the other two QBs weren't SEC QBs. And Brennan couldn't do it. It's why the coaches ran out immediately after spring practice desperately seeking a transfer.

Can Brennan improve - sure. But I think any improvement will be marginal, not transformative. And I don't think it will be enough to turn him into an SEC QB.

And his weight has nothing to do with it.

Tell that to Brennan's dad.

In the age of tPortal and players transferring after one year. Myles deserves praise.

He should match an offensive lineman’s dinner plate every night

Brennan has way more potential and tools to develop than burrow does..burrow has been in a college program going on five years now and still isn't a very accurate passer

I agree that he's biased when comparing their talent, but that isn't the point. If weight wasn't a factor it wouldn't even be discussed.

The hate comes from a long line of subpar quarterbacks at lsu. Myles fits that mold and fans are sick and tired of poor qb play.

Tom Brady was 211 at the 2000 combine. Brennan will be fine.
